Join us for an intensive management workshop that will transform Your fleet’s approach from ‘ticking off checklists’ to a culture of ‘constant operational readiness.’ We go beyond conventional theory. We teach commercial PSC management strategies. We will equip Your Superintendents, Captains, and Managers with the knowledge to:

  1. Protect Revenue: Avoid off-hire periods and loss of charter opportunities caused by minor defects.
  2. Understand the Algorithm: Learn the rules of the New Inspection Regime (NIR) and discover how a ship’s age, type, and the shipowner’s history influence Your Ship Risk Profile (SRP).
  3. Stop the ‘Domino Effect’: Understand how the detention of a single ship lowers the entire shipowner’s rating (Company Performance), bringing more frequent inspections across Your entire fleet.
  • Shipowners and Ship Operators
  • Designated Persons (DPA) and QHSE Managers
  • Technical Superintendents–
  • Captains, Chief Engineers, Senior Officers, Deck Officers, and Watch Engineers.

The program focuses on high-risk areas that statistically most often lead to detentions:

  1. The ‘First Impression’ Test

How to manage key moments – from the condition of the ramp to the inspector’s arrival. These moments determine whether the visit will result in a ‘clean’ report or escalate into a detailed inspection.

  2. ‘ISM Domino Effect’

The ISM Code is the most common cause of detentions. We will show You how inspectors link minor technical defects to evidence of a systemic failure in safety management.

  3. Operational Readiness (Drills)

Best practices for testing crew competence. Learn how to flawlessly conduct fire drills and ship evacuation drills, which are now a standard element of inspections.

  4. Future Challenges

Stay one step ahead of the competition. We will teach You how to prepare for inspections related to decarbonization (CII/EEXI indicators) and digitalization (Electronic Logbooks).
